GRADE 2

Grade Two

To enhance our joy for reading, the Grade 2 visited the Goulburn Valley Library and they really enjoyed their time there.

During the term break, there is a holiday program for the students at the G.V.Library. So if you are looking to do something a little different, then participating in these activities would be well worth it. Here are some of the students’ thoughts about our community library.

“Yesterday, our class went to the Goulburn Valley Library and we went there on a bus. I was sitting next to Sahar. When our class was in the library, there was a lady called Emma there. She read all three stories. I am sure the class liked the three stories. When we finished the stories, all the girls had a walk around the library.

When the girls had a walk, the boys were colouring in the bookmarks that Emma gave us. After the girls came back, the boys had a go at walking around the library”

Zainab Syeda, Grade 2.

Yesterday, we went to the G.V. Library. There were over 10,000 books and I was so happy that I couldn’t believe my eyes. It looked as though I was in heaven and it was my favourite day and we did colouring in a worm and it was fun. Then we looked around the library. There were so many books that I couldn’t see anyone only books.
